Emy Le

CISV come from a shortening of the Children's International Summer Villages, building global friendship. CISV create projects and organize camps around the world. Children and young people participating in the camp in order to obtain increased self-esteem, make friends while developing the intercultural competence of attitudes, knowledge and skills in a multicultural society. Since I joined CISV I have been working as Secretary of the Board.

As a student ambassador I work for the university at various events, such as: participation in various events where I can guide students and give them information about the University of Borås.

STARKdagen is a job market day for the students at the University of Borås, produced by the Students Corps of Borås in collaboration with the University of Borås. During this day students and employers meet each other on different arenas: at the job fair, during lectures, job candidate interviews, through our arrangement with company host or our evening activities. I have been involved and participated in the project group since 2008.

I was in Germany / Cologne for four weeks with my delegation. During these weeks I learned a lot about cultural sensitivity in communication, leadership, collaboration and education. I have also found friends from all around the world.

English Café is a project that I and other students have started from scratch, in which exchange students and local students can get to know each other. At meetings we plan activities and the communication is in English only.
