Our company designs systems for road management and we develop a complete solution completely developed in house, as a combination of the network structure, server systems, sensors, cameras, and the software that runs and manages all the above. I am in charge for the design and implementation of the server systems and its integration with the network structure underneath, composed by the central core switches and the field switches to reach the endpoints of the installed equipment.

I am head of the Network Dept. in the company. I take care of the core structure, working with routers and switches and am responsible for the planning and coordination of changes in the structure when these are needed, so service is always continuous. I also configure custom firewall rules directly on the routers, via access lists in Cisco and via Firewall Rules in Mikrotik.

Chief of IT Department in BelleAir Airline company. I orchestrated and coordinated the building of the network infrastructure for the company, the network in each physical site, and also the interconnectivity between them, two of which were abroad. I also built from scratch the mini-datacenter of the company. The servers there were installed by myself with GNU/Linux and configured appropriately for the role of each: file servers, database servers, web servers, storage servers for the backups, etc.

I was the primary servers system administrator and a backup network engineer. I built, installed and maintained the servers and made sure of continuous service. These servers included mail servers, web servers, database servers, domain name servers, file and data servers and virtual server infrastructure (hosts and guests, using Xen technology, before it was acquired by Citrix). I also dealt with routers and routing and peering with other isp-s.

I was a programmer at the VAS Department. I did programming using scripted languages (a combination of shell, awk and Informix SQL) to implement several things as needed. These included data extraction for reporting purposes and programming the promotions and offerings that the company envisioned and introduced in the market.
