Planning and delivery of major sport events (e.g. World Combat Games). Developing and managing effective relationships with event participants, local organisers, service providers and sponsors. Supervising event logistics (registration & accreditation, travel & accommodation requirements). Assisting with the preparation of commercial contracts and assisting the Marketing and Communication team in generating marketing and communication plans.

Responsibility for event and competition planning and delivery, including programme, set up of the event, logistics (registration, accreditation, visas). Managing pre-event site visits and post-event debriefing procedures and reports. Providing on-site trouble shooting during the events. Sponsoring an innovative electronic database with an IT partner.

Defining internal and external communication strategy. Creating post-event publications with external PR agency and publisher. Planning and coordinating the development of the communication database. Writing, selecting and editing news stories for AIBA website during the events. Coordinating the communication and press operations, reactive and proactive media relations, magazines, catalogues and newsletters.
