Diagnostic and Network Architect. Part of an exciting project to deliver LIDAR sensor technology onto a vehicle platform. Responsibilities included: ensure correct Network management functionality, review of the customer UDS requirements (in accordance with ISO 14229) and ensuring these communicated across the platform teams. Ensuring diagnostic queries are resolved. Provide support for diagnostic entities such as DTC logging, DiDs and Routines.

Rivian project - Vehicle Networks Architect. Senior engineer of a small UK based team. Responsible for creating whole vehicle network releases, (Can/CanFD/Lin/Flexray/Ethernet), using network design tool Capital Networks, (VSA). Liaising with Rivian chief architect to ensure customer expectations were met. Reviewing feature owners requests for PDUs/signals and validating/entering these into the database. Performing post extract validation checks.

Working within the diagnostic team developing a Connected Diagnostic Service for vehicle platforms. Involving onboard function definition and offboard data handling.

Requirements development, handling and management. Rational DOORS, PTC Integrity.

Assist development of an automotive test rig for infotainment visual systems.

Customer Interface Engineer for Fujikura Automotive Europe GmbH - establish working relationship with an automotive OEM for the development of a new high bandwidth automotive network.

Project Leader A2B bus into the vehicle platform. Project Leader/LIN bus expert. Responsible for diagnostics over LIN, (including software download). 802.1as Time synchronisation, Ethernet, Flexray CAN bus. Vehicle Networks - CAN, MOST catalogue definition and diagnostics. Problem solving for CAN, LIN, MOST Networks.
