Area of work: drug discovery, gene target validation, cell culture, cell based assays Key responsibilities: •Establishment of cell based assays for the evaluation of gene targets and compound screening •Compound screening and determination of EC50 values •Implementation of gene target regulation assays by siRNA •Preparation of Standard Operating Procedures

Area of work: protein analysis, drug discovery, gene target validation Key responsibilities: •Protein analysis by Western Blot, SDS-PAGE •Affinity Purification of Antibodies •Supervision of an external collaboration for the production of monoclonal antibodies •Compilation of an MS-Access database for monoclonal antibodies •Cultivation of different human cell lines and primary cells
