ISAP Program, Vermont Department of Corrections. Provided leadership to the Intensive Substance Abuse Program (ISAP) including supervising the regional clinical supervisors. Redesigned program structure to be less hierarchical in nature creating regional supervisors and clinical support staff.

ISAP Program, Vermont Department of Corrections. Provided direct clinical support to 9 outpatient addiction programs toward the following objectives: development of Program Manual, Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) Program Approval, Quality Assurance.

Wrote a weekly column for the newspaper highlighting outdoor activities in the local area (hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, rock climbing)

ISAP Program, Vermont Department of Corrections / Marathon of Brattleboro, Brattleboro, VT. Provided direct clinical services including individual assessment, group substance abuse counseling; treatment planning; discharge planning; and case management.

Instructed single- and multi- day youth programs, including ropes courses & rock climbing.

Managed Internet presence and computer systems, including installing upgrading and troubleshooting of hardware/software/local area network, and training staff. Responsible for website development of the American News Service website.

Developed special-application adventure products for urban Outward Bound Center; including: product conception, curriculum development while improving profitability by 200%, identifying new markets, working with team to develop/manage $4.3 million budget, training staff, ensuring program quality.

Coordinated evening program at dual-diagnosis inpatient facility, including staff supervision and development and activity scheduling. Coordinated evening relapse prevention and experiential programming, intervened and directed clinical staff in crisis situations.

Instructed 21- day wilderness courses, including rock climbing, minimum impact camping, flat and whitewater canoeing and high & low ropes course activities for State-run (Connecticut) Program.

Provided direct clinical services, wilderness skill instruction and risk management for young persons participating in a 4-season, 33-day, wilderness therapy Outward Bound program. Prepared statistical study focusing on demographics/drop out rates; wrote addiction education workbook.

Worked with 7-member counseling team with the Drug Abuse Comprehensive Coordinating Office, Inc. in Tampa, FL to provide individual, group, & family counseling to inner city youth; collaborated with schools to identify/assess/intervene drug-involved youth.
