- Analyse, monitor and track financial performance of division (comprising 2 Business Units), providing “early warning” indicators of major deviations to Budget/Forecast. Creation of tailor-made analytical solutions for the above where appropriate. - Compilation of monthly sales variance analysis by product/customer and profitability analysis by product.

- Creation and maintenance of company-wide monthly sales reporting analysis. - Creation and maintenance of profitability and variance analysis. - Creation and maintenance of daily sales and orders tracking analysis - Devising and rollout of Budget Sales Template for global sales team. Incorporation of budgets in monthly reporting used as benchmark vs. actuals. - Support of Business Management and Finance on specific projects.

- Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets for the region. - Analyse financial results and preparing forecasts for regional head office. - Analysis and production of reports of Functional Costs and General Administration & Selling expenses for the region. - Closely working with Regional Functional Leaders in connection with their departmental headcount and costs.

- Liaising with salesmen, including querying major variances between forecast and recent actuals. - Organising and chairing regular demand meetings with representatives from sales management, business management and supply managers. - Providing consensus sales forecast data to supply management. - Providing forecast accuracy reports to business management.

- Responsible and accountable for inventory levels and value for business unit (revenue > $300m) - Setting of production plans of manufacturing sites and procurement plans for tolled & traded products based on sales forecasts. - Creation of annual production and procurement budgets by SKU for each site. - Close contact with site managers relating to supply issues, including regular calls covering actual production volumes, quality issues, raw material procurement quantities.

- Preparation of Business Unit sales and gross profit analysis reports. - Creation of Excel and Access based reporting system used by world-wide salesmen to report sales forecasts. - Preparation of annual sales and gross profit budgets. - Creation of complex product hierarchy system allowing management to highlight and take corrective action on unprofitable products.

- Maintenance and upkeep of accounting records pertaining to various corporate holding companies for purposes of: + monthly management reporting + statutory reporting + preparation of budgets + preparation of quarterly board reports. - Assisting/performing group consolidation. - Extensive use of Lotus 1-2-3, Microsoft Excel and Word. - Occasionally assisting the Corporate Treasury Department. - Liaison with many world-wide group financial Controllers in performing of above tasks.
