1. Maintaining charts of accounts and assisting the Finance Manager in the preparation of Bank Reconciliation Statements in compliance with accounting principles. 2. Assist with the preparation of the departmental budget. 3. Enters, update and/or retrieves accounting data from Oracle Application Software. 4. Generating monthly reports including budget variance analysis. 5. File and archive documents connected to the accounting function.

I learned while supporting senior Financial Consultants as they optimize the effectiveness of various client companies by analysing their financial statements, and also assisting the finance department of client companies with the preparation of annual budget and revenue forcast. My greatest achievement as a trainee was the review of job description of the employees of a client company thereby eliminating unnecessary positions and overlap in responsibilities thus reducing overheads by 25%.
