Project lead on a third-party project: Investigation of PET granules on volatile organic substances. Activity: Experimental design, Experimental procedure, Result evaluation, Documentation, Estimate of investment for a lab-scale plant at customers site for the gravimetric measurement of desorbed organic substances, Optimization of the laboratory equipment with regard to the improvement of the experimental reproducibility.

I prepared my bachelor thesis in the period of February to June 2014 headed by Dr.-Ing. Mitja Medved.

As part of my Bachelor studies, I completed a five-month internship in the Process and Technology department at KRONOS INTERNATIONAL, Inc.

Internship at TMD Friction, technical department / prototype development in Leverkusen.

Master Thesis: "Production of Ethylene Glycol and Dimethyl Terephthalate from Multicolored PET Flake and Estimation of Fixed Investment and Production Costs (Class 3 Estimate)" (grade: 1.0 [excellent])

Bachelor Thesis: "Chemical and mineralogical balance of the ore digestion reaction and investigation of the solubility curve of the digestion solution in the sulphate process" at KRONOS International Inc. in Leverkusen (grade: 1.3 [excellent])
