Specific duties include but are not limited to: • engineering design of 3D printers in a Solidworks CAD/CAE environment • conducting structural finite element analyses of 3D printer modules • performing thermal (conjugate heat transfer) analyses of extruders, heated chambers and build platforms (Ansys AIM/ Solidworks Flow Simulation) • rapid prototyping using FDM-based 3D printing technology • designing and supervising experimental research • managing CAD files and standards at PDM software

• conduct non-linear FE stress analyses (ANSYS Workbench, ACP) of CFRP-steel joints • perform mesh sensitivity and optimization analysis with ANSYS DesignXplorer • design and supervise experimental research (static testing and NDT) of composite airframe components • analyze numerical and experimental results and carry out correlation studies • implement Google's cloud-based solutions into team work routines • write scientific papers, research proposals and make conference presentation (5 papers)

• created preliminary design of electric-powered motorgliders (sizing, structural layout, weight analysis) • calculate aircraft external loads using PTC Mathcad 15 and in-house software according to CS22 regulations • develop Structural Test Plan for complete research aircraft (3 aircraft) • coordinate and supervise full-scale static structural tests of gliders and motorgliders • create test reports and compliance documents according to CS22 regulations • cooperate with National Aviation Authority
