I was accountable for the safety culture, full profit and loss, operations, local human resources, budgeting and strategic planning for a 200 mile area. My territory generated $19MM in annual revenues on an average of $33MM in rental assets across 7 locations managed by 7 branch managers, 12 sales reps and 50 operational staff members.

Sunbelt acquired NationsRent and I was asked to stay on as District Manager. I was accountable for the safety culture, full profit and loss, operations, local human resources, budgeting and strategic planning for a 225 mile area. My territory generated $20MM in annual revenues on an average of $35MM in rental assets across 5 locations managed by 5 branch managers, 11 sales reps and 60 operational staff members.

I managed all accounting, credit, budgeting and analysis at the region level and ensured the accuracy of all financial information generated from the accounting department. I had direct responsibility for the Fleet Operations ($135MM of Fleet Assets) for the region and was actively involved in turning an annual $400K loss to over $23MM in positive EBITDA in 3 years.

I was responsible for managing the physical location of $1BB in rental assets with six regional mgmt teams to maximize return on investment and fleet utilization. I led the coordinated of the fleet disposal of rental assets via auctions and trade packages with manufacturers and the field management teams.

Audited 250+ locations focusing on operational, financial, security, personnel and theft issues. I also assisted in the development of the corporate internal audit programs and control self-assessment questionnaires.
