- Responsible for the IT-support of the institute's employees. - Reworking the network and server infrastructure, replacing and merging old and obsolete servers, migrating data. - Setting up and configuring a new backup system for all the workstations and servers using Acronis backup and IBM Tivoli. - Setting up a centralized user directory service using an ApacheDS LDAP server. - Managing the orders of replacement parts and IT-related consumables.

Founded my own software company specialised on automated software deployment. The software "Client-Installer" was running on 130 servers and over 7000 clients in 17 cities nationwide.

- Reworked the entire internal network infrastructure. - Set up new servers and migrated the data from the old servers, including a number of CVS repositories. - Set up and configured a new backup system for all the servers.

- Developed new software modules for the "IServ Portalserver". Focused on the development of a module for automated software deployment. - Responsible for anything hardware and network related, including maintaining the company's internal network and servers, and also assembly of server hardware to be sold to customers nationwide. - On-site support and installation of servers, network infrastructure and software. - Tutored new employees in regards to the fields above.

- Diagnosed and repaired hardware failures on 20 personal computers. - Installed and configured 30 Microsoft Windows 95 and XP workstations and the internal network for the shared access to the Internet and internal fileserver. - Tutored a fellow intern.
