I was employed by the Gansvoort South Hotel in Miami's South Beach as an Operations Manager of the Security Department. The Gansvoort Hotel is a luxury boutique hotel situated on Collins Avenue in South Beach.

I was employed at the Fort Lauderdale Police Department as a Criminal Investigations Detective. I was promoted to this position within a year of my appointment with the department.
