Working with corporate/commercial AP functions to improve their use of available banking technology. Through increased automation in fully utilizing installed ERP/AP systems, companies can achieve significant time and cost savings while maintaining the highest standards of security and supervision.

Initially I was involved in analysing & advising senior management in the top 100 companies in the country & non bank IFSC entities, on their fx & interest rate management strategies. This also included the sale of cash management tools, such as AIB’s payment systems as well as the negotiation of the charges associated with systems. Since early 2008 I have focused on international business development, specifically with a view to identifying & developing new deposit counterparties.

As a member of the Board of Directors of a multimillion Euro business, we took strategic decisions concerning the direction of the business as well as observing day to day management of the business. As company secretary I was also charged with completion of all statutory returns and recording of the board meetings. I also served on the finance & membership committees with specific responsibility for managing the anti money laundering policies and chaired a committee to update policies & procedures

I was responsible for the sale of fx & interest rate products & cash management to large plc, semi state & IFSC companies. I was also tasked with developing new treasury relationships. One of my particular roles during this time was to also manage the corporate resources desk, this desk was responsible for housing all of Global Markets corporate deposits, and involved managing the book to meeting volume & income targets while ensuring sufficient liquidity.
