Responsible for the processes in operations and quality. Responsible to partner pro-actively with the business identifying opportunities and global solutions for process improvements. Responsible to provide a communication channel for the business IT requirements to the IT department. The major focus is around processes, not ignoring the related system landscape.

Responsible for identification and definition of the corporate social responsibility policy. Responsible for defining BIW’s product strategy in the field of sustainability. Develop the strategy for the company’s internal environmental management system, the environmental policy and enhancements specific to the company’s carbon footprint.

Responsible for the Financial Control module. Enhance functionality, improve user interface and usability, add additional key functionalities, and redevelop all on a new SaaS platform. Responsible for PlanWeaver, an analysing and optimising methodology and application for complex projects. This includes defining the business requirements, the functional specification, carrying out feasibility studies and bespoke prototype development.

Design and implement the global BPM and PLM to ensure the successful delivery of the software product. This includes full business process documentation, user guidelines for the process and the tools. Train staff to enable a flawless conversion from “old” to new business processes. The result was a seamless end-to-end process including all aspects of the software development process. Reduced software release cycles from 6 to 3 months for new functions; and from 3 to 1 week for bug fixes.

Responsible for training and guiding the students: as a result, they are able to define the end to end business processes of a manufacturing organisation and implement the solution based on a software application. Developed the framework for a state-of-the-art business degree in liaison with leading global corporations. Responsible for the development of the department that forms part of one of the top three Universities of Applied Sciences in Germany.

Founded the “Global Polio Awareness Campaign 2001+”. Travelled to various 3rd world countries and increased awareness, raised campaigns and fundraising activities via a variety of public information channels. Organised fundraising events that included several national TV and radio station interviews. Achieved and witnessed hands on experience of the challenges faced by aid agencies, by personally carrying out immunisations in remote villages of developing countries.

Responsible for continuous improvement initiatives and providing solutions to business processes across the whole supply chain. Responsible for the delivery of the most efficient solution to integrate the business requirements. Develop and deliver business process integration solutions, integrating multiple businesses and utilizing different software packages. Carry out gap analyses of existing solutions; providing and facilitating process improvement and redesign.

Responsible for a department of six. Manage implementation teams to define and deliver solutions. Provided business process re-engineering expertise for a major business process change project to standardise nine different companies throughout the new unified organization. Led the business process design and implementation of the supply chain solution, and the coordination of the integration. Developed and implemented a project management methodology for internal and external use.
