Supervised internship in Research and Development Department of Vallourec Tubes of Brazil, in corrosion area. The developed works are related to the relationship between steel properties and pitting corrosion appearance.

Supervised internship in Research and Development Department of Vallourec Tubes France, located in the city of Aulnoye-Aymeries, in France. The works were developed together with the steel making plant and are related to inclusionary properties analysis in the final products and during the steel production.

Supervised internship in the Research and Development Department of Vallourec Tubes of Brazil. I was in charge of a project with the objective of developing a new premium steel grade for oil and gas industry, in concomitance with of other demands of the department. The activities include laboratory scale heat treatments, microstructure and mechanical properties analyses, accompaniment of samplings and corrosion tests and data analyses.

Microstructural analysis of MIG welding in duplex steels.

The project consisted on producing thin metal strips by the single belt process in order to reduce steel making lamination plant.

A Scientific research project was developed in the Chemistry department of Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais with emphasis in the extraction of cellulose nanotubes in order to enrich polymers properties.
