I created the internal control and internal audit functions ; I then took new accountabilities in financial controlling and cash flow optimisation and seconded the Head of Tax & Compliance on international taxation matters, trade compliance and legal entity matters like the establishment of corporate income tax declarations and review of financial statements before filing.

I created the internal audit function in Europe, managed internal audit engagements (with management of audit teams) and supervised SOX testing efforts in Europe.

I performed operational and financial audits

I started as a junior internal auditors in charge of performing manufacturing and commercial audits on one of the brand of the group, and I evolved to a senior position in charge of conducting the audits and supervising the team. The scope of audit broadened to entail all group entities in South Europe and Northern Africa. In 2005, I took part to the implementation of the SOX compliance program and managed a small group of SOX specialist in charge of documenting processes.
