Also responsible for 2nd level operational support using managed resources (offshore team) with Accenture ODC, Bangalore, India. Management tasks: resource allocation and control of the onsite application development team in Vienna, as well as the offshore operations team in Bangalore, India; guidance of requirements engineering in development/operations area; strategic consulting of business related to CRM system

Technology Assessment and Commercialization - recent work with the Global Commercialization Group (GCG) at the University of Texas at Austin (USA) – in cooperation with the Gyeonggi Province Innovation Center of South Korea – to assess technology/innovation projects and their commercialization viability (i.e. potential for business development) in international markets.

Direct report to the Vice President, Project & Transition Management/Operational Excellence, (in Zürich, Switzerland). Project responsibllity: setting up the International Data Center Consolidation Program (iDCC), which had common project objectives and related data consolidation activities in the United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Netherlands and Germany.

Direct report to the Chief Technical Officer (CTO), who was a member of the ONE Management Board. Member of the ONE Management Group and the Corporate Program Management Committee. Responsible for the in-house portfolio of customized applications, internet solutions and customer management systems – developed in close collaboration with internal business owners. Final responsibility for budget administration/discipline, strategy, targets, development reviews/performance and external vendor management.

Head of IT development group responsible for all customer care systems including: in-house design/integration of customized applications/databases, billing system GUIs/component APIs, network provisioning interfaces, Change Management and Workflow interfaces, Geographic Information Systems, Point-of-Sales applications (on-line), Credit Verification System, Logistic System interfaces, Data Warehouse and MIS reporting platforms, as well as project/program management support.

Management responsibility for software application development group (cross-functional team of engineers, developers, system analysts and project managers) to seamlessly integrate all relevant customer care systems as well as create new applications for product and services) – essentially acting as a “software house” within ONE. This included vendor management as well as budget responsibility for approx. 25 employees, with an annual budget to € 2 million.

Responsible for IT project management implementation of Call Center system components, including both hardware and software (PBX, IVR, CTI, ACD, GIS, etc.). Intensive work with “turn-key” vendors to determine most efficient/effective choice of partners under very aggressive conditions and schedules. After implementation, responsible for documentation, coordination and hand-over of system to internal development and operations group.

Responsible for ACD (Automatic Call Distribution) software statistical reporting package of existing PBX product on Siemens Hicom telecommunications platform. This included remote service and hotline support, as well as pre-sales technical support in England and Germany. Supervisory responsibility of a group of 4 development/support engineers for initial ACD product software design and development team. The ACD product was successfully installed at more than 200 customer sites in Europe/Asia/South America.

Product Planning and Competitive Analysis. Scope of analysis included: material cost/market price, human factors and design, system interfaces, ease of usability, completeness of documentation and final packaging. Analyzed and designed Engineering department financial and manpower planning models. Created a "Final Product" Quality Audit Program. Developed and maintained QA reports and database for Quality Assurance Division. Supported Statistical Quality Control courses and Quality Circles initiative.
