OEM: BMW AG IP-Fahren project • Derived safety concepts from Technisches Sicherheitskonzept across multiple features for IFX TC4D, TC3x controllers and Watchdog monitoring for TLF4D and TPS. • Functioned as software safety focal point, owning safety activity planning, coordination and release readiness assessment for IP-Fahren BSW project. • Tracked and reported functional safety KPIs including requirement traceability coverage, open safety issues and milestone adherence to project stakeholders.

• Development planning and co-ordination of making complete safety package to support new Stellar SR6xx controllers in accordance with AUTOSAR architecture. • Drive the movement of complete testing to automated test to improve the efficiency of deliveries using ECUTest. • Configured controller FMEDA based on the safety measures implemented on top of vendor configuration to avoid systematic failure in the design.

-Complete package responsible for hardware safety software for generation of controller ranging from Infineon TC17xx, TC2xx, TC3xx and ST- SPC57xxx. -Managed team of 17 members situated in multi-location and worked as single point of contact to co-ordinate with German counterpart as subject matter expert. Performed analysis on the Field Issues and proposed remedial action as containment action and derived prevention action plan to avoid further failures. Actively participated in Functional safety assessment

• Developed hardware safety software (from Technical Safety Concept) concepts based on EGAS safety guideline to achieve the safe state of system in case of failures. • Attained strong knowledge on ISO26262 safety life cycle, ASPICE software development base practices, Requirement Engineering, V&V on HiL setup and exposure to MISRA standards. • Performed effective technical review for safety relevant work products within the team and across the section.

• Taking over the responsibility of complete hardware safety software package for controllers Infineon (TC3xxx) and power PC (SPC57xxx) controllers and handle independently from India. • Developed software safety mechanism for the Errata which impact the existing safety mechanism and to prevent cascading faults which violates Safety Goals (SG). • Actively participated in the discussions about the Hardware Errata with microcontroller vendor to finalize the feasible software workaround.

• Developed hardware safety monitoring concept for generic timer module (Timer) which is used for safety critical timing calculations like engine speed, Ignition valve timing and so on. • Developed Configuration tool using Perl and Eclipse to support in configuring different hardware peripherals like CAN, FlexRay, ADC and FHTI (Fault Handling Time Interval) to support different project configurations
