    Reviewed and advised on health information issues (HIV clinic, reproductive health service, avian influenza preparedness) for 3 refugee camps. Designed and built health data collection frameworks, databases, operating procedures, user manuals, reporting protocols for each. Provided training to local staff in all aspects of the data flow process. *This position was a competitive Canadian International Development Agency "Young Professionals" placement.

    Secondment from the University of Melbourne to the State of Victoria (Australia) Department of Human Services Koori (Aboriginal) Maternity Services data exploration project. Collected antenatal records from Koori health clinics across the state; recommended a minimum data set, collection and reporting procedures; presented interim findings at a state-wide conference.

Further, coordinated a website based on the trial (whatwerewethinking.org.au) which later won best in class at the Interactive Media Awards 2008 in New York. Please note: The Centre for Women's Health, Gender and Society has since relocated to Monash University
