Duties included overseeing the day-to-day functions of the FD, scheduling, recruiting, conducting performance reviews, payroll approval, leading FD meetings, handling billing and accounts, dealing with guest complaints and concerns, recognizing repeat and VIP guests and promoting the hotel’s loyalty program, implementing upsell incentives to increase revenue, creating improvement and budget plans, and inventory control

Various tasks included dealing with IT issues, reconciling the Hotel Wine Merchant accounts, settling credit cards, supervising and training staff, guest relation duties, preparing daily reports, responding to emergency situations, following through on disciplinary actions, ordering supplies, as well as creating and updating checklists and SOPs.

Responsibilities included checking -in and checking-out of guests and groups, blocking rooms, handling guests needs and special requests, cashier duties and balancing guest accounts, making reservations, reconciling accounts, as well as administrating various night audit duties.

Provided various Front Desk services which included check-ins and check-outs (including groups), making reservations, handling third-party billings, concierge, and cashier duties. Minor responsibilities included Valet Parking, Room Service and Housekeeping.

An eight semester program including Facility Management, Strategic Planning, MIS, Revenue Management, Sales and Marketing, Accounting, Communications, Supervisory Skills, Law, Human Resources Management, Tourism, Accommodations, and Business Ethics.
