• Headed 48 new product introduction projects, co-ordinating several stakeholders in the selection, sourcing, approval and integration of over six hundred components for new appliances. • Led cost-saving and re-engineering projects making savings of over £900K within three years, by proactively renegotiating more favourable terms with current suppliers, finding new sources and working with R&D to exploit the use of more cost effective components and materials.

• Directed factory audits as part of supplier due diligence and to maintain quality control. • Conducted negotiations with suppliers on terms and prices, to reduce costs and improve delivery. Implemented negotiation strategies based on thorough research into each product, market and clients competitors. • Implemented twenty six technical efficiency projects working with teams from several departments.

• Part-time until graduation in June 2005, full-time thereafter.• Organised production and shipping schedules in conjunction with Chinese suppliers to enable them to satisfy Baxi’s complex quantity and timing needs.• Collaborated with procurement directors in France, Germany, Spain, Italy and the UK to resolve Asian purchasing issues.• Sourced and evaluated suppliers in China and maintained client relationships through meetings and regular contact.
