Research assistant position was for the Violence Prevention Institute and the responsibilities were: - Conducting literature reviews for grant writing - Writing summaries of what I found in the literature reviews - Drafting letters of support from implementation partners

Practicum for the MPH completed in Sierra Leone, West Africa.Duties included: - Health system strengthening. - Working with the hospital manager and utilizing an electronic inventory management system (mSupply) to project an order for medication and medical supplies - Capacity building with the national Medical Store Keeper. - Changes to the inventory system were used to address resource management to create a sustainable program.

As a volunteer program planner, the scope of work included: - Systems improvement and health system strengthening - Creating a patient welcome packet and updated memorandums of understanding with partner organizations. - Refining website design to make it more user friendly. - Coordinating with partners and other stakeholders.

In Sierra Leone, West Africa for Magbenteh Community Hospital responsibilities included: - Health system strengthening activities. - Writing comprehensive report assessing resource consumption by each department, in comparison to patient attendance and diagnosis. - Capacity building with the national Medical Store Keeper. - Due to staffing shortages responsibilities for this position also encompassed: acting as a cashier, an Assistant to the Project Coordinator, and a Forensic Accountant

Responsibilities included: - Ensuring all sections of the store were stocked, materials were ordered, and organizing back stock sites. - Acting as the on-shift manager and sales associate. - Supervising a team of other employees. - Addressing concerns of customers - Acting as key holder and opening/closing registers
