Design and Analysis of Turbine Disc and Rotor blade geometry which is operated at very high speed (56,000 rpm) and comparing the results from analytical calculations and FEM (ANSYS) results. Design optimization is done to reduce the mass by changing the geometry and calculating the possible new geometry which yields reasonable hoop stress value. Modal analysis is carried out to check the critical modes and response of the structure using the Harmonic analysis.

Worked as a stress engineer for 3 years with Pratt and Whitney, America on high by-pass geared turbofan engine family exclusive engine for the 30K (Airbus A320 neo), Mitsubishi Regional Jet (MRJ), Bombardier C Series(BA). Performed modeling and structural analysis of stator, rotor, casing and spinner cone of high pressure components. Analysis carried out are LCF, HCF, Static, mission analysis and modal analysis on each components.
