CFO and CIO for the Russian business, a $5 billion turnover entity comprising all elements of the manufacturing and commercial value chain (headquarters, 5 area sales offices, 2 factories, 4,600 employees / 500 under direct supervision). Exercised broad scope of authority, including executive guidance and decision-making for all aspects of business expansion, external relationships, organization target setting, strategic & operational finance, and risk management & controls.

CFO for a central business unit governing global activities of the PMI Group, consisting of 35 entities based in European and Asian locations, and generating $16 billion in revenues annually (3,300 employees / 200 under direct supervision).

CFO role for the $7 billion turnover French business, which included direct accountability for all finance duties, as well as for planning, business development, procurement, distribution, supply chain, and administration (350 employees / 100 under direct supervision).

Charged with the transfer of all HQ finance activities from the US to the Switzerland-based Operations Center, including the set-up and running of the new financial planning, management reporting and consolidations department, while concurrently retaining all financial systems related responsibilities.

 Headed a Board of Directors’ sponsored project aiming at reviewing and overhauling finance processes, organization, and systems for the PMI Group, resulting in a 30% decrease in workload, an 80% timeframe reduction to consolidate financials, one global system across 180 sites, and a new standardized worldwide organization structure [received a “Group Chairman Award”], and as of 2002, governed the configuration and global roll-out of a single instance of SAP (ERP).
