Mareike Pilscheur

Mareike was responsible for the analysis&documentation of processes in inventory planning management as well as for the problem identification & improvement of processes as buying, pricing, distribution, consolidation, markdown, min/max stock level in collaboration with external companies & the inventory department. Moreover, her scope of work was the search & evaluation of potential data analytics vendors to develop a 'To-Be' process as well as the testing of new processes to enable continuous improvement.

Mareike was in charge of the sourcing of steering components for new projects. She worked closely with the engineering department and an international project team. Some of her key responsibilities included analysis of supplier quotations, negotiations of part and tooling prices, coordination of feasibility meetings, presentation of sourcing proposals in the project team and the identification of potential suppliers in collaboration with commodity purchasing and quality assurance teams.

Mareike was in charge of OEM Key Accounts. She established, expand and strengthen the business of potential and current customers. She obtained a broad knowledge in customer service related activities which include problem-solving of customer issues, forecasting of customer demands, oversee all supply chain activities related to customer orders and forecasts. During this time, Mareike supported her sales team in implementing a new ERP system. She also did on-the-job training with new colleagues.

Mareike underwent a two years trainee program. During this program, she worked in the HR, Finance, Logistics and Sales Departments. The program taught her to understand how an international organization works, how departments interact and the main topics and problems that each department is facing. She worked for 4 to 6 months in each department which gave her sufficient exposure to acquire a profound knowledge of the different functions.
