Coordination of thePurchasing Dept. Fresh Fruits and Vegetables (5 employees) and active involvement in the procurement process by direct negotiation with the national & international suppliers. Accurate market research and competitor analysis in order to set the selling prices. Other activities: margin tracking, direct contact with the warehouse, daily quality control, orders, invoices, business traveling)

Management of the assigned products, constant development of own-brand products (from the idea - to the shelf), negotiation and contact with the suppliers, analyse of samples and new products, control of margins and losses. In order to follow market dynamics, I had to constantly look for new suppliers and negotiate with these best possible price-performance conditions. Afterwards were set the selling prices, which had to respond to market tendencies. Business travel.

The training began with the daily activities in a Lidl store in Germany, later I learned the tasks and processes in the warehouse. "Learning by doing" was the motto of the training. I could participate actively in the procurement processes of the private brands, had to negotiate with suppliers, draw up contracts at the Lidl Headquarter, look for best freight options and solve quality issues, invoice problems and delayed deliveries.
