In partnership with senior management, I defined the Automated Testing approach and overall automation strategy for many products resulting in reduced regression timelines. Whilst here I also developed QA Test Strategies for high profile corporate undertakings, such as the move into the IOT field at Vodafone. • Oversaw move to the Spotify Squads and Tribes Model POC including a new testing strategy based around BDD whereby all the feasible tests would be automated and written up front.

I ensured a high-quality website was delivered for the Vertu handset that would function on many platforms, browsers, and mobile devices which would retain high profile customers. • Writing and maintaining user stories acceptance criteria • Developing and maintaining test cases based on user stories • Testing of front end website compliance with many browser, OS, and phones for different operating countries (UK, Germany, Italy, France, Russia, China)

During this time I oversaw simultaneous UAT testing operations over multiple countries (e.g. NL, IT, PT, ES, DE). Represented Vodafone Testing team globally with many external vendors or service providers including Google, Samsung, Dropbox, and Applause. • Creating testing schedules and ensure timelines were met for project completion • Writing overall testing strategy for both internal testing and external UAT testing efforts

Here I was rapidly known as a QA subject matter expert and my initial role was expanded to include reviewing all test plans/test cases and coordinate all defects at Sky. • Manual testing of changes to JavaScript front end e-sales website and Mainframe back end • Verification of correct pricing and charging to customers

Tested complex insurance brokering software in compliance with Lloyds of London standards. • Reconciliation of financial reports results against the database • Performing manual system testing on VB/SQL Server Insurance Broking and Underwriting applications.

Created all QA testing processes and procedures for the project to ensure a high quality end product was delivered.

Introduced agile-like testing methodology for the B2B testing proposition where I performed technical testing of Digital Certificates and Java Web Services including testing APIs with TCPMon.

One of 2 people trusted with extremely complex functionality testing. I also developed SQL queries for use personally and by other team members to test the backend DB2 Database.

Modified existing implementation of JCL to create parallel backup and restore database jobs, resulting in approx. 1 day saved time per test cycle at ATO. I also developed SQL queries for use personally and by other team members to test the backend DB2 Database.
