I involved in a Marie-Curie project called FiBreMoD. I am responsible to expand the use of the model developed at Mines ParisTech for evaluating full scale type IV pressure vessels. The current structures are over-designed as the standards have not yet understood the damaging process of composite materials. A multiscale modelling based on the micromechanics of fibre break would be useful to develop the design and the standards.

I developed an APDL (Ansys Parametric Design Language) script to extract necessary information from an offshore jacket structure. This information were then used to evaluate its crashworthiness using a developed analytical tool. Furthermore, I also developed a C# program to visualise the results from the analytical tool. In this way, the company can use the developed tool without having crucial problem.

I supervised the work of the rig crews at the inland oil field in Duri, Indonesia. The guidance from the senior well site manager surely essential for the development of my knowledge in the field. It is important to always study the previous job log before starting the next operation. Ensuring the pressure balance is a crucial part in every operation. During my time in the field, I have participated in a cementing job, pump-installation and perforation job

I witness how the GL surveyors performs their job on the vessel. In a certain time-frame, a vessel must be re-evaluated to ensure its quality before leaving the harbour. Small evaluation would be necessary if certain parts on the ships are broken and has been replaced. At that time, I followed the surveyor to check the engine rooms, ship's equipments, cargo hole and boiler.
