Integrated Product Development is a lecture accompanying project to develop product inventions with high innovation potential. In 2019/2020 Robert Bosch GmbH provided the topic as the project's partner. Each team worked on an invention to the topic: "Future mobility for people and goods on urban streets starting in 2025: Requirements and solutions for a flexible, modular and scalable vehicle and transport concept“.

- Responsible for FFF/FDM 3D Printing - Construction of experimental setups - Independent execution of experiments and their evaluation

Topic: Process development for the usage of rapid prototyping technologies in product engineering - Establishment of FFF/FDM 3D Printing into a running product development process - Development of an in-house Rapid Prototyping methodology - Development of a benchmarking model for dimensional accuracy - Optimization of 3D Printing parameters with said benchmarking model - Development and validation of a waterproof FFF/FDM 3D Printing method

- Validation of different methods for bottleneck identification in a flexible manufacturing system - Instruction in data analysis with the software Rapid Miner - Weekly maintenance of a KPI cockpit for cross-site evaluation of the mechanical manufacturing of combustion engines - Development and maintenance of process KPIs of the specialist departments mechanical manufacturing and control technology
