EUR in one year by value selling, aggressive marketing and promotion. Created business and achieved orders from the world’s no.1 and other top PV module manufacturers in Asia Pacific. Built our APAC team in Hong Kong, China, Korea and Singapore. Increased the sales volume of our Group Company Pasan S.A. Asia Pacific to >40% of total sales volume
Responsible for P&L of Landis+Gyr Hong Kong and Taiwan. Developed the strategy and initiated the change from a device-oriented organisation to a solution sales-oriented team. Successfully finalised the COO assignment by completing the development and restructuring of the China operations to be self-sufficient.
Planned and implemented the transition of the China organisation from a trading oriented company into an industrial Centre of Competence of more than 380 employees by building up, leading and training of managers and key staff for Supply Chain Management, Production, Quality, Logistics, Export, Product Management and R&D.
Managed the China Mainland business with a headcount of over 540. Led the turnaround of our China Mainland business into profitability during six months assignment. Increased Sales by 53% year-on-year. Developed and implemented strict key account management, close tracking of sales leads, orders and cash flows. Changed the organisation structure by defining clear roles and responsibilities to prepare sustainable growth. Recruited and developed new Heads of Sales, HR, Quality and Production.
Developed a strategy for Landis+Gyr’s China business, defined M&A as a key driver for growth. Selected and evaluated potential partners and created partnership models. Acted as the head of the negotiations with target companies on behalf of the Group CEO Landis+Gyr. Selected and managed an external consultant to give support on the market survey, scanning and organising pre-due diligence of potential targets.
