Muhammad Talha Rauf

Worked as a assistant research scientist at Fraunhofer ISE Freiburg. I did my Master Thesis there where I was part of development, modification and testing of catalytic fuel evaporator to be used in dual-fuel-engines to reduce environmental emissions. My work involved testing of the prototypes, evaluation of product compositions, interpretation of experimental results, indication of design loopholes and possible changed in the future design based on results' evaluations.

Worked as a research assistant to carry out successful planning and implementation of series of batch experiments for the development of adsorption characteristics of natural zeolite. The experiments involved the adsorption of ammonia from wastewater over the surface of natural zeolite. The adsorption isotherms were derived from the experimental data obtained via intensive batch experimentation.

Worked in process department of state of the art hydrogen production plant run by Descon oxychem Limited. There, I learned the working of main process equipment (including catalytic steam reformer, shift convertor, hydro desulpharizer and pressure swing adsorber) responsible for the efficient production of Hydrogen. Also, successfully completed a task of rate of steam loss from one of the de-aerators.

Worked in operations department as an Intern student in the oil refinery where I learned about Naphta hydrotreatment, Platforming and continuous catalytic regeneration. Also learned to analyze flow chart formations and design parameters.
