In charge of the development of the SAPO News websites (http://www.sapo.pt). Buzzwords used: Perl, MySQL, Mason, Template Toolkit, MongoDB, Javascript, NodeJS.

Software development using Perl5, Catalyst, Template Toolkit, Mason, MySql and BerkeleyDB-XML, working closely with the open source community. Worked as a consultant to several of the company's clients either correcting existing flaws in their software as well as planing and executing new developments.

Consultant assigned to work onsite at Portugal Telecom, developing several web components of the Sapo portal (market leader in portugal), including the following web channels: Dictionary, Music, Photos and Cinema. These were developed mostly using Perl/Mason, webservices, MySQL or Postgres database servers, JavaScript and Ajax, among others. Development a web dictionary that used word similarity search algorithms to improve usability. Developed Perl components for the Bricolage CMS.

Integrated a team of software developers focused on producing a software solution for the Financial market. Technologies used included Microsoft's .Net 2.0 platform and the C# language, among with the use of webservices and Microsoft SQL Server 2005.

Development of several software analysis tools to use with the analysis of software systems created in the C# language, using Java, Antlr and abstract syntax trees. This software package was used to detect anomalies and possible bottlenecks on the software used by the Amsterdam City Hall to control and optimize the flow of garbage trucks in this city.
