Nicholas Zammit

For my last academic year at the University of Malta, I was a member of the executive team leaders of the Formula Student racing team University of Malta Racing (UoMR). This position required the management of team logistics, event planning and people management. More specifically, my tasks involved organising internal team events such as participation of the team in exhibitions, most importantly planning the logistics of the team's participation in the Formula Student Silverstone 2018 competition.

This consisted of a summer placement at the Department of Systems and Control Engineering where I contributed to research which is featured in a forthcoming research paper titled “Automatic Ornament Localisation, Recognition and Expression for Music sheets”. This involved creating a MATLAB program to write automatically generated musical elements from a computer vision based recognition software into the Music XML format.

Port and airport customer service with TUI Cruises (contracted by S. Mifsud and Sons). German speaking work environment for TUI cruises customer assistance for embarkation and disembarkation to and from the cruise ship and connecting flights.
