As Senior Internal Auditor I’ve had experience within both Manufacturing and Commercial perimeters, conducting operational/financial audits and fraud investigations over R&D Centres, Plants and Commercial entities located in EMEA, NAFTA and APAC regions. Flexibility, fast learning and leadership together with accountancy and controlling tools knowledge have been crucial skills to cope with a structured and complex environment, targeting a continuous improvement of the internal control processes.

I had the chance to take part in the whole audit process; planning the tasks, analising the client enviroment, identifying the risks, developing the audit strategy and providing the final audit certification combining internal controls mapping, IT and pure financial audit. I had been involved in all the financial statement areas, improving myknowledge of accounting standards such as IFRS/IAS, ITA GAAP and US GAAP, combining technical proficiency with leadership skills.

Participated in the pure audit period of the financial statements for companies around the northeastt Italy. Gained exposure to a wide range of industries and sectors while applying the knowledge and skills acquired at University. This required a high level of flexibility and problem-solving skills in order to adapt to such a specialised segment of the financial markets industry.
