Preparing lab classes of Electronics I for second year students. Explaining theorical and practical principles of electronics and helping the students with the use of basic electronic lab equipment.

Currently writing my master thesis in the area of Power Electronics and Embedded Systems. The work is entitled “Adaptive High Resolution Dead-Time Algorithm for Energy Efficiency in Power Converters” and consists on developing an algorithm for optimization of DC/DC converters by making use of the modern XMC4200 microcontroller and its innovative modules for precise MOSFET driving.

Development of the MATLAB® Simulink® support package for the XMC Microcontroller family according to the company’s requirements. The user is allowed to configure a wide number of resources and modules using blocks and graphic GUIs and generate MISRA compliant C code. Development of a method for project engineering from high-level modeling to HW implementation (according to the V-Model) using MATLAB® Simulink® and DAVE3™. The solution could generate code automatically for Infineon XMC family microcontrollers. Example project with focus on the lighting area. Production of an application note and a presentation for the department.
