ested and led others in testing international components for “AdWords”, Google's flagship search-driven advertising application, both on standard browser interfaces and on mobile telephones. Aside from providing specific linguistic skills to test most Western European languages directly, Peter conducted general internationalisation testing for other major world languages as well, including double-byte and right-to-left locales (twelve-month project).

qualified French, German, and other European video-content web sites to identify URLs to add to existing video-search databases to be accessed from European national portals; also some quality assurance work relating to non-English search portals (seven-month project).

analysed and categorised original German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Scandinavian Internet advertisements to help create appropriately targeted advertising campaigns in countries where those languages are spoken (original three-month project extended over two years); assisted others with linguistic and cultural quality assurance issues.
