-Collect blood samples. -Perform CBC,ESR ,WBC diff count, blood film preparation. -Performed dipstick and microscopic analysis of urine specimens . -Prepare gram staining slides for examination. -Grow and identify microorganisms on their specified media. -Perform routine immunological tests such as H.Pylori both antigen and antibody and other tests manually. -Performed validation on new reagents to ensure they fall in range of the manufactures standards. -Viewed the calibration of instruments.

Funded by King Abdullah II Fund for Development and supervised by Dr.Mamoun Hatmal-Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences, the research aims at finding a connections between single nucleotide polymorphisms of CD36 gene and diabetes II. - Collect data from patients in the form of questionnaires. - Collect blood samples . - Prepare reports and follow up seminars to the funding committee. - Analyze blood samples by standard methods including : - DNA extraction - Gel Electrophoresis - PCR.
