Appointment as Cluster General Manager (Premium Cluster) for Silk Road Samarkand, a highly modern destination resort developed and operated by the Samarkand Tourism Center (STC). The project spans 260 hectares and represents one of the largest integrated tourism developments in Central Asia, with a strong focus on hospitality, MICE, wellness, culture, entertainment and public infrastructure.

Turnaround appointment at an underperforming urban hotel in Kowloon, Hong Kong, operating in what Forbes has repeatedly described as the most competitive economy on earth. The hotel comprised 389 rooms and suites, three food & beverage outlets, fitness facilities, and a small outsourced spa, supported by a young, multicultural operational team of approximately 135 FTEs.

Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort & Spa by Anantara is an ultra-luxury desert resort located in the Rub’ al Khali (Empty Quarter), the world’s largest uninterrupted sand desert. The Ajman Palace Beach Resort is the first five-star hotel and flagship property of Hospitality Management Holdings (HMH), a Dubai-based hotel management company operating multiple hotel brands. The resort comprises 254 luxury rooms, suites and serviced apartments, six restaurants and bars, a private beach, fitness centre and luxury spa, supported by a 1,000 sqm ballroom and four additional meeting and event rooms. The operation employed approximately 250 ambassadors (FTEs).

Developed GTAs Product Portfolio from only a few hotels in UAE and Oman to well over 350 throughout the GCC Gulf Cooperation Council (UAE, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain). The responsibility was not only to develop these products but to direct and complement efforts of other divisions such as sales, marketing, guest relations as well as the relationship management with local authorities and partners such as Tourism Departments, Destination Management Companies and others.

The Holiday Inn Resort Sharjah, today Radisson Blue, was the leading five-star beach resort and conference hotel in the Emirate of Sharjah directly next to the Rulers Palace. 300 spacious rooms, suites and poolside cabanas, 6 restaurants, pool, private beach, health club, two ballrooms and 8 conference rooms. German Military Service in Passau, Bavaria, Germany which I utilized to complete a second professional degree as Office Sales Professional as well as to complete the AEVO (Train the Trainer) license in Germany.

My apprenticeship time I spent in two Michelin Star Restaurants the Gourmet Restaurant "Kaiserin Sissi" at Hotel Wilder Mann, Passau and Hotel Saeumerhof, Grafenau. Much of my last year as an apprentice I worked as a Sommelier. This is where my passion for Culinary experiences originates from.
