    – Linearized a 5MW Wind turbine model taking into account the 1st and 2nd vibration modes; – Designed an optimal control to reduce the vibration modes due to the drive-train deflection and the tower bending moments (side-side and fore-aft movements) caused by the wind speed disturbance (wind shear and tower shadow); – Implemented and tested the designed controller with the external controller in the commercial Garrad Hassan BLADED® software.
