DAAD Young Ambassador is an honorary program to promote Research and education in Germany holistically.

As an Intern, my task were as follows: • Formulating a FEM model for the jetting process involving abrasive jet nozzle. •Conducting a CFD analysis of the flow process from the nozzle using the Volume of Fluid (VOF) method using ANSYS FLUENT •Programming a User-Defined Function(UDF) for the multiphase droplet flow through the nozzle.

Working as a Student Research Assistant, my tasks were: •Finite Element Simulation and analysis of a bearing system with a focus on non-linear contact analysis using the ANSYS Workbench. • Parameterization of the components and checking for complex contacts. • Documentation of the obtained results.

Interference Microscopy Group (InMik) Group at the Max Planck Institute of Light mainly works with Polarization Optics, Nano-optics. As a Student Research Assistant, my work mainly consisted of : • Using a commercial Maxwell Solver Lumerical FDTD to run numerical solutions for tailored light fields interacting with nanoparticles. • Retrieving spectral properties and the polarization response •Post processing the resulting data using MATLAB and finally documenting the results for future research.

•Researched and constituted a knowledge base of various abrasive materials. •Analyzed counterpart sales and planned future sales initiatives. •Arranged regular meetings with dealers and learned their opinions on abrasives. •Carried out factory visits to understand product usage.
