Thesis titled –‘Design and implementation of state estimation algorithm for hybrid ac-dc grids’. 1 Develop a generalised weighted least square ac and dc state estimator in Matlab flexible w.r.t. number of buses in ac and dc systems, configuration of measurement sets and control mode of converter, configuration of converter (monopolar/bipolar) 2 Identify critical measurements and perform tests to study and improvise on the observability aspect of ac-dc grids.

1. Modelling of distributed generators (DG) in Real time digital simulator (RTDS) and studying the effects of their integration in to IEEE 14 bus system 2. Modelling and analysis of two area Kundur power system network in Opal-RT real time software

1. Conducted power system studies for utilities and industrial power plants. Studies included load flow, short circuit, transient stability, reactor adequacy studies, harmonic analysis and relay coordination studies using Mipower (power system analysis software). 2. Involved in Transmission Planning studies for eastern Indian state of West Bengal.
