Research project as a novel strategy for the development of an innovative antimicrobial compound against multidrug-resistant bacteria

Training program at PEI at the division of immunology with Prof. Dr. Van Zandbergen´s group as a guest researcher to follow up the innate immunity in Leishmaniasis, focused on the pathogenic evasion strategies of the human immune system.

Public health research project focus on the identification and characterization of Visceral Leishmaniasis in autochthonous seropositive dogs. This project was an initiative of the Institute of Tropical Medicine from the University of Sao Paulo and the Center of Zoonoses control from Embu das Artes in Sao Paulo state- Brazil.

Thematic research project developed by three large public research institutes in sao paulo. This research focused on the development of a rapid and differential diagnosis among the commun forms of leishmaniasis present in Brazil.

this master project was a research project focused on the identification of autochthonous seropositive dogs at the Great Sao paulo area. Additionally it developed a new molecular biology tool for the fast and accurate diagnostic of the different types of leishmaniasis.
