Dr. Umesh Tharehalli Mathada

Engaged in the investigation of molecular interphases between early-stage tumor-initiating cells and immune cells. I received a research grant from the DFG under HEIST 2254 project. During my PhD thesis, I focused on topics such as liver regeneration and liver carcinogenesis using several transgenic mouse models. Alongside, I also supervised several students for laboratory internship, bachelor thesis and master thesis work.
