As an IT student i assisted the section Engineers and Technicians in carry out the following Functions: • Enforcing basic safety rule to be observe in any heavy industry which is tagged “LOTOTO” (locked out, tagged out and try out,). • Operation, Maintenance and programming of PLC • Isolation of electrical supply for maintenance purposes • Ensuring the smooth running of mobile crushers, kiln and mills • Monitoring the status of the mill main drives parameters such running current, running load.
