CAD CAM Software: UG NX7.5 & NX8, CNC Controls: Mazak and Makino Worked as part of a large very skilled modelling team involved in the delivery of fully functional Show Cars, concept models and prototypes. I was responsible for planning CAM, CNC milling processes and manufacturing interior and exterior components in a wide range of materials including acrylic, aluminium, plastic, foam, steel, tooling board, etc.

Reporting to the Operations Director and working alongside the Production Supervisor, I was responsible for planning all the manufacturing process, designing jigs/ fixtures, programming all the cnc milling machines with Mastercam X2 software and looking after the tool store. The machines being: CNC Milling from 3 - 5 axis, CNC Lathes & Mill/Turn with C & Y axis

Responsible for managing and mentoring a small team of 6. Scheduling, quoting, estimating, buying milling tools, programming the CNC’s, training apprentices and Tradesman in how to use Edgecam, Mazatrol, Fanuc and Anilam. Improving the workshop, manufacturing process, reducing machining time and costs. Manufacturing sugar factory equipment (Crushing Mills). Milling brass, steel, cast steel, cast Iron, stainless steel, etc.

01/2007 – 05/2008 – CAD CAM Programmer – WorkNC Software, CNC from 3 - 5 axis indexed with FANUC and FIDIA CNC controls. The company is specialized in manufacturing of automotive stamping mould, dies (Bend, draw and trim dies) press tools and car prototypes. The main clients were; VW, Fiat, Ford, BMW, Peugeot, Toyota, Honda, Audi and Edag. 01/2003 – 01/2007 – CAM Programmer and CNC Milling Machine Operator. 02/1999 – 01/2003 – Apprenticeship on CNC’s and conventional milling machines.
