Co-Founder of SAFIRA Clinical Research Ltd - a clinical research support enterprise, focussing on technology to support patients and improve their experience in clinical trials and within healthcare.

I am leading a team of very clever colleagues and we are managing an open platform to encourage collaboration within ICON and with partners. As Product Management group we are responsible for all eClinical initiatives that enhance the clinical trial process and lead the way to more patient-centric and more efficient processes.

The Irish Whale and Dolphin Group (IWDG) is dedicated to the conservation and better understanding of whales, dolphins and porpoise. We are a non-profit, non-government organization and support ourselves through membership fees, consulting contracts and donations. We are conducting important research and we are always looking for ways to fund this research. You can support us by joining the IWDG or you can join us and help us with being creative to raise funds.

The Vice Director has been elected by the ePRO Consortium founding member firms (CRF, ERT, invivodata, PHT, ICON). All ePRO technology vendors are eligible to join the ePRO Consortium. The Vice Director will work closely with the Director to coordinate activities amongst the working groups within the ePRO Consortium. Managed a growing team of eCOA specialists and developed new products that are unique in the market place.

Developed a group of eCOA experts within ICON and started a new business line.

After the acquisition by ERT I had global P/L responsibility for the device based ePRO solutions. In addition I was responsible for managing the ePRO Solutions in EMEA. During this time I directed the growth and direction of the ePRO team in Europe and identified other Key employees to add to the team.

After leading the development of several ePRO products for the past years, I am now responsible for increasing our global ePRO marketshare. During the last few months I set up a CRM system, contracted a lead generation service, wrote papers, directed validation projects with our clients and developed a price generator.

During this time I directed the team that build electronic Patient Reported Outcomes (ePRO) products. I initiated and led the development of the AM3 (PEF/FEV1 and eDiary), VIAMotion (activitymeter), VIAPen (QoL), VIAPad (eDiary) and VIAConnect (intelligent modem).

I joined invivodata to strengthen their small european BD group and to increase the european share of the bottom line. During this time I build the strongest european BD team (3 new hires) and we delivered the best BD performance for invivodata ever.

My responsibilities included channel management with our ePRO partner, managing relationships with 13 Top50 Biopharmaceutical clients and giving european insight into international business opportunities.

Took over the Business Development responsibility for Perceptive Informatics in Europe. Trained and supported PAREXEL BD team to co-sell eClinical solutions. Hired two new BD Directors and further increased sales within Europe.

During this time I managed several clinical projects and successfully piloted two new EDC systems (proprietary inhouse solution and PHT Esendant)

During this time I held positions in Datamanagement and Clinical Operations.
