Bujumbura, Burundi. Advising the ECHO financed project: Management of four camps for expelled persons from Tanzania. Supporting the Burundian Red Cross in financial, organizational and administrative matters following the ECHO norms. Assisting in planning and organising a standardized reporting system. Training Burundian personnel in the above mentioned. Financial planning and accounting of the overall budget. Close cooperation and coordination with all partners involved (UNICEF, WFP, ECHO, etc.).

Kigali, Rwanda. Conception of the community based watershed project in Kirehe District. Development of participatory planning and evaluation methods. Introduction of methods and instruments for conflict management. Project conception, -planning and implementation; result orientated and simplified project monitoring and description of procedures.

Kigali, Rwanda, Advising the non-governmental organisation APEPARWA (Association pour la protection de l’environnement et la promotion de l’agriculture au Rwanda) in planning, organisation and monitoring and evaluation. Assisting the NGO in conception and carrying out the watershed protection program financed by IFAD and DIFID. Participation in the evaluation of the support project to the strategic plan for agricultural transformation in Rwanda (SPPSTA) financed by IFAD and DIFID.

Salvador, Brazil. Advising eleven credit unions in the state of Bahia (Brazil) in strategic and operational planning as well as in restructuring their internal organisation. Assisting the interpretation of balance sheets and from there, developing new strategies for each credit union. Adapting the existing monitoring and credit recovery system to changing environments.
