White carpet is already gleaming up from the booth floor of #RIDELCOMMUNICATIONS at #NABSHOW. All communication cables are in place under knees of double padding and our carpenters ensure a clean flooring. To keep it clean until Show opens, we will cover it right after installation.

It‘s held every 4 years right in Las Vegas and draws a truly international audience representing all major mining regions of the world. This years show had more than 800,000 sq.ft. (74,000 square meters) net in exhibition space with indoor and outdoor halls. More than 1950 exhibitors from 37 countries brought the cutting-edge equipment, technology and ideas that will let mining companies increase productivity, control costs, keep operations competitive and improve safety and manage risk with all the new equipment and concepts they present. Exhibitors show a vast range of metals, minerals, energy solutions, latest technology and safety gears. This event demands the attention of almost 40,000 high profile professionals to explore the latest in mining technology. Conference sessions and open forums add to this event. From mining to finishing, this convention covers all aspects of the trade and presents an enlightening session for the industry. It‘s all about mining what exhibitors show from pumping stations and equipment, processing equipment, mine and quarry operations, traction mechanisms, exploration, excavating equipment, drilling equipments, fan and systems, spare parts to handling equipment, transportations and logistics. The attendees look small to the huge impressive machines and trucks at this show. No wonder that we see also chemical companies like BASF and Evonik with its DYNAVIS brand to show how those machines will operate with more efficiency to reduce cost and pollution. MINExpo is also about engaging with experts on the show floor and in education sessions as they come together to debate the issues of the day, provide perspectives on industry challenges and share visions and insights for the future. So we look forward to the next MINExpo in Las Vegas in 2020. With the TV report "Exhibitor Notes" the film production AKTIV-TV presents editorial summaries and information about the respective trade shows and events. ------------------------ Railway vehicles and public transport are still a major issue. This can be seen once again in Berlin at the InnoTrans 2016. The world's largest rail technology trade fair, which takes place every two years, is well on the way to achieving its best record in its history. Almost 3,000 companies from 60 countries make this world's leading trade fair an absolute must-attend event. In addition, the trade fair once again achieves a top score in terms of international exhibitor participation. Compared to the last event, net exhibition area of InnoTrans has increased by around nine percent to 1,2 million squarefeet . And around 140,000 trade visitors from more than 120 countries, including all renowned railway managers and transport ministers, make InnoTrans the international summit for the train industry. In addition to the global players of the industry, numerous international suppliers and railway companies as well as industrial and trade associations from 20 countries are the main features at the 41 exhibition halls and open-air grounds of InnoTrans. In addition, the list of exhibitors includes service providers and renowned research institutions from Germany and abroad. 127 innovative vehicles are being presented on the open-air and track area. Among the highlights are the 149 world premieres - convincing proof of the innovative strength of the rail industry and the trade fair's role as a marketing platform and innovation driver. The number of exhibitors is high and the trade fair is planning to open up new areas for the future. This year, the organizer couldn't manage to clear up the empty containers of the exhibitors for the opening - considerable obstructions and also blocked emergency exits were the result on the opening day. InnoTrans not only attracts railroad representatives from all over the world. The media are also well represented to present the future means of transport to the general public. And on public days, around 16,000 rail fans come to marvel at the new products on 3.5 km of tracks at the open-air grounds. Here, Siemens will also be presenting its new products to the expert public. At the main booth, specialists are available for dialogue on any question. The future of rail transport then is a major topic. Models and functional examples will be used to discuss details and various options in order to find the right solutions for future rail traffic. Thales, also a European supplier, located nearby, is showing facilities, systems and services designed to improve safety and performance as well as the comfort of rail passengers. DILAX, with its new CI and booth concept from Berlin, presents intelligent solutions for passenger counting and recording of passenger routes in public transport to optimize frequency and capacity utilization. No wonder that this technology is in demand all over the world. InnoTrans mostly revolves around the passenger and smooth communication. Information and security technologies are presented here in all their diversity. Customer-oriented services for local public transport make it attractive for the future. So, due to innovation cycles getting shorter and shorter, one can look forward to InnoTrans in two years time with great curiosty.youtube.com
