With the new WPC Portal Crane System, Barbaric presents a completely new solution for loading prefabricated timber walls. At Tiroler Holzhaus, the system is used in the area of a Hundegger WALL-Master, supporting ergonomic handling of different panel and insulation materials. What makes this new development special: the WPC Portal Crane System is mounted laterally to the building structure. This keeps the handling area free from obstructive support columns, while still allowing the overhead crane above the line to remain in operation. The result is more freedom of movement, better accessibility and flexible integration into modern production lines. The system features a crane runway length of around 45 metres and two motorized jib arms, each with an outreach of approximately 9 metres. Each jib arm is designed for a load capacity of up to 200 kg at the lifting device. Combined with the Barbaric lifting devices UWL3 and NGR, the result is a versatile solution for handling a wide range of materials – from OSB, coated boards and plasterboard to wood fibre insulation boards and other insulation materials.
